I think that motivation is an important part of being successful in anything you do. When it comes to fitness, I understand how hard it can be to take that very first step, to pick up the phone or email a personal trainer. Hopefully the pictures on this page will both reassure and inspire you in equal measures. The educational process is very important to me, so I shall share as much information and secrets of trade as I can to help you to feel comfortable and confident to work out all by yourself - take a look at the videos and photographs on this page, then let me know if they help.

Triceps Dips Coaching Points

  • fully extend your elbows
  • abs in, chest up, shoulders down, feet slightly apart
  • bend your elbows 90*
  • keep your bum close to the bench/step/stool/chair
  • breath out on your way up ( effort )
  • keep your elbows to the rear and fingers off the bench
  • push through the bottom of your palm

Squats ( main muscles used are glutes, outer glutes and quads )


To execute squats safe and correct follow this basic coaching points:
- keep your feet wider then your shoulders
- toes slightly out
- keep your bodyweight on your heels
- on the way down sink your hips back and push bum out
-keep your knees inline with your toes
- try not to push your knees too far forward
-keep your chest lifted up and squeeze shoulder blades 
-keep your back flat
- abs in and braised 
- keep your knees off lock at the top and bed them 90* at the bottom
 
Remember: the wider your legs are the more into your glutes and outer glutes you are working. 
You can always use light weight to counter balance your body or just extend your arms in front of you.
Only add/increase  weight when you have mastered the technique 100%
